Study aboard is always my dream, in fact a plan for myself to further upgraded myself. Be frank to you guys I am a person that don’t like study. But different people will have different plan and path. Some they further study for the purpose of self interest, some further study climb higher corporate level, some even study doctor to further polish themselves to political sector eg: Tun mahatir, tan sri Dr. lim lion sek. For me, few years down the road, degree holder is everywhere，how u made ourselves different from others? U master-rate urself. That was the reason why I choose to further on my study. The main reason will be exposure.
Most of them already noe I been applying some of the UK uni to further on my study. I here not to say tat the moon for 外国的月亮特别圆，is jus the somehow the exposure to outside is far more different than my beloved country Malaysia here. The environment, the quality, the teaching and learning system, the culture, the profession there and last but not least the chick as well *crap*

The way they do stuff are really impressive, can categorize them become our learning modal. Following are my current status of my postgrad application:
I obtain 3 offer letters for the coming September 2009 intake master study program on business wit uni ranking 50-70 in UK. There is total around 120 uni in UK, I tried to apply top 50 uni BUT wit my 6677 degree result from utar, the application was “amat memalukan”.
HOWEVER, I have chosen to differ my post grad study to next year intake due to some considerations.
My family
Morally support I think my parents both are ok, they will respect my decision weather I wanna further on my study locally or aborad. In term of financially…..the figure to study aboard..hmmm, again I am trying to strip my parents’ pants of for the fees.
Myself
Physiologically I am prepared to go, in this part, I really need to thank tun ck lim for his guidances and invaluable effort for keep giving me great advises and life sharing experience there is uk. Plan first, read more, suft more and be prepared. His information is fast and useful, eg: RSS, blog, twitter, msn, facebook link, this is the place I get myself informed. How great this fella is on n off still will email me asking me hows life going, *no angkat LP here TUN, is my appreciation to u* yea, fully agreed.
U noe why MBA study need 2 years experience? You need exploresure!! Be honest, a youngster like me, my thinking, trouble shooting, my presentation skill, management style, tremendously sohai. I really think I need more time to get torture more before I further on upgrading myself.

My work
I have been switching jobs since I graduate. It is hard to find a job that really suit u up, if a work that need to 违背良心,sorry I will quit no matter wat. BUT for my current job, I saw opportunity to explore myself with my current company. They spend around 10 k to train me for this job, how am I suppose to leave by sep09 when I c so much effort they put on me. I saw the company on going plan, and I also know I am jus a bean for the company chess game, but Chinese people often told us must 饮水思源. If I am worthless to them, I will leave without any regret, bcoz at least I already tried b4 and pay u bac wit my effort I done.
Besides, there is not university can teach a person wat sales is. The most subject taught in business skol are jus administration, marketing, economic, finance, management. So I should take this 1 year time to learn more and re-polish myself before I further on the next step.
This is by ck and I like him so much “It never too late to come UK and study. Since you are planning to do business studies, this is good for you to get additional year exposure. I will support your decision.”

study abroad is a great exposure, and I have promised to my sibblings and perhaps my "would be" puan sri–>to gv everyone at least 6 months exposure here. and why UK? Aforementioned, i will publish a logical, rational post once i completed my master, and hope this will gv every readers a clear idea. :-)when come to study abroad, a uni\’s ranking may essential but this is not a big deal/ definite factor. The exposure you gained (such as broaden your view, change your mindset (but not brain wash!), become independent, mature, understood other\’s culture & practice, communication skills, interaction skills, and various soft skills + cooking skills) is depends on how much effort you put onto it, how you appreciate the chances you have, rather than the uni\’s ranking (besides academic). *If you are a nerd that always keep yourself isolated, then there is not different between study in msia and uk, other than better academic training you gained here :-).this is applicable to prospective business postgraduate like you, whereby academic result doesn\’t reflect your capability in business career. To be success in a business studies and fully utilise chance to study abroad (as I think), we have to alway proactive, self motivates or in biology I define "proactive/ self-motivate" as "ATP". With all these "ATP", organism only can drive "cellular process", "ion channel activity", "protein up/dwn regulation" and finally reach an "optimised state" that make sure organism can live better regardless any "stresses/ pertubation" they encoutered. However, "optimised state" may lead to some minor changes to their original form.Literally, when someone is "self-motivates, and proactive", then these will drive him become "passion", "commitment", "prolonged interest" in achieving their goal. Eventually, they may reach their "target". However this target may not match your initial objectives. Also, 有得必有失。You will gain & loss something then.By the way, they are many non-uk educated ppl success as well, like uncle lim that not even finish the secondary sku, utar\’s prof chuah that completed all his studies in local. There is always an area where a particular can excel with but not others. I believe the reason behind is they devote "their heart"–用心去做一件事 to the area they pursued.So,even a rojak stall owner, i will respect and appreciate a good rojak they made for me. :-)I believe you have made a thorough considerations based on factors you mentioned. Greater opportunity comes greater responsibility, I always tell myself, with unique horoscope I have, exposure/challenges ecountered, opportunities I gained, then I should try my best (whenever is aplicable/ possible), to share my humble opinions :-)…whether an appreciation/act is considered as angkat "LP" or not, it\’s up to individual definition & perception. As long as I know I am 100% sincere in whatever I shared, then I don\’t mind any rumours arose. Don\’t have to feel bad, I don\’t mind, a ceremony is not a big deal and i will invite all people come to see the live telecast on the convo. Bear in mind that, there is another greater convo tht you may attend in the future.Lastly, my stand is firm, and therefore you will get fully support from ck!cheers, all the best

mario!! hmm…if u really planned and prepared to further study, just go. everyone will have different perception. some ppl will think that earning money is important at this stage den studying master is nothing. but c how urself balance btwn. there will be alot of voices beside…but u really have to stay firm tat u study to improve urself den u can overcome all that d. coz i experienced that. when u really decided to study,some ppl will sed study so much also no difference one, since got opportunity in ur current company, why dun u appreciate….blah blah blah something like tat. but none of them know wad u really wan wad u really need…so just follow ur heart. dun feel guilty or wad for wasting the effort of ur company…they can also train others..n u din know how realistic the is world outside.
